The CBSE Class 12 Economics Paper was divided into two main sections i.e.
Both the sections carried questions 50 marks each and they had to be answered within the specified time limit of 3 hours. After the Mathematics Paper, many students were concerned about the economics paper, which was expected to be quite difficult with several out of syllabus questions. But to the surprise of Class 12 students, the paper contained straightforward questions, which were covered from the defined syllabus.
While the majority of the students were elated about the general design of the CBSE 12th Economics Paper, a few had complained about the numerical section. The 2 and 4 mark questions from numerical sections were deemed to be slightly tricky and, therefore, consumed more time to solve. But despite the lengthy nature, students seemed fairly confident about handling the numerical section with ease, as they saved quite a bit of time in the other sections.
As stated above, the class 12 students were very relieved by the relatively easy and straightforward Economics Paper. The majority of students termed the CBSE Class 12 Economics Paper as Medium or of average difficulty with a balanced design for different topics, sections, and chapters. Students, who have worked hard to crack the Economics paper, should expect a high score in the examination. Even candidates with average preparation performed fairly well considering the easy nature of CBSE Economics Paper.
